Show32! Council of Stellar Managment Special.

EVE Files Mirror praise be to Chribba!

Yep show 32 is a pretty special episode. Firstly its special Urban wussed out and went to bed before the discussions started. What a wimp!

Winterblink is not a man to be daunted by this and so he invites onto the show.

In the red corner we have Crovan the bitter old noob. not to mention one of stars on the The Drone Bay.

In the blue corner, all the way from Australia we have Omber Zombie at least until he had to leave!

In the green corner we have Lavista Vista and Benilopax from the Drone Bay podcast.

They talk as lot about the Council of Stellar management and the voting process.

They also discuss another bitterness filled thread .from Digital Communist, everyone favorite Misanthrope.

Lead out tune 'I've got the power!' by Snap!.

Beyond that, just the usual random sidetrackage, gibbering and tinfoil hattery.

Pah! Who needs Urban!

Episode 32 Discussion Thread

'Interest Groups etc. in the CSM....' by RigaMortis

Interest Groups for sells etc., sounds like you talking about Trade Unions. I doubt this will happen for the first or second terms. However if the CSM does kick off, then you may get industrialist forming Unions :)

An important show that covers an important topic.

I welcome the CSM, but like many others my hope is riddled with potential pitfalls. I read the post by DigitalCommunist and agree with many of his sentiments.

It's a big ask for the CSM to listen to thousands of competing voices and distil them into a coherent message for CCP that is both realistic and actionable on CCP's part.

If this is going to work, we sorely need intelligent, articulate representatives who have a deep understanding of their constituents, game play & developers -a big ask!

It's a brave move by CCP with potentially far reaching consequences not only for Eve but other MMO communities in general. I'm excited that players get representation, I just hope it's the right type of representation.

I just want to say I find it weird that it is the player job to make interest group and not CCP suggesting the idea. I do believe interest groups or by regional representatives will be the better way to put the counsel together.

Don't Lavista and Benilopax do WDA Industry.... just tossing that out to you. Since I'm a nitpicky jerk.
Enjoy the weekend everyone.

'Question for possible candidates for the CSM's' by FarScapeIII

Question for possible candidates for the CSM's that might be campaigning on your show..

I already asked some questions to Dronebay so I'll ask you a different question for the canidates.

Will they be able to talk about ALL the known ideas to make the game better or how will they choose what to bring up to CCP?

FarScape III

P.S. You guys are fun to listen too, thanks. It is awesome to have EVE made more alive with the news. And everything else too like the home work is a great way to here about the sci-fi world that I may have missed.
