Show 25, Happy new year everyone! Urban had a crappy Christmas in a wasteland with no broadband (THE HORROR!) which is why there wasn't a show last week. Still we are back ready for action!

MC and some of their buddies grab period basis in an operation called Tortuga Naturally BOB, the previous owners of Period Basis, aren't taking this lying down and lots of ships go boom.

We welcome Jade Constantine back to the forums. Good to see you again.

In the North has apparently got a bit dull for Triumverate so they return to the south to continue their scrap with CVA

Blinky and Urban tell their highlights and lowpoints of 2007 in EVE and post their hopes for 2008. If you have any thoughts on what your highlights and low lights, post this in This thread on the WDA GAX Group.

Kieron writes a Dev Blog about the changes to forum moderation. More sane forum moderation can only be a good thing in our book!

For homework Urban wants you to check out True Romance. A quality film with a magnificent scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken.

For those missing EVETV, Don't cry! Check out this EVECAST.TV. These guys have started really strongly and we want to wish them all the best for the future. We are already hooked!

A fun little flash game called EVE offline to help you pass those dull downtime hours

And while we are on the subject of games, check out Tarminic's new top down shooter game Play EVE: Downtime Madness Good job sir, but its a shame Urban really sucks at it!

Lead out tune 'Collection' by Hoover's Ooover.**

Beyond that, just the usual random sidetrackage, gibbering and tinfoil hattery.

**Look we know the band has a stupid name and their website is in Japanese, the tune is still total awesomeness!

Episode 25 Discussion Thread

Great show guys--good to have you back.

I especially enjoyed the high-low discussion. I can't agree that Trinity was a low point though. To me the low point of the year was the accusations against the CCP employee who supposedly joined a corp to spy for another.

In any event, keep up the good work.

Hey Drakefury - thanks for the nice comments

I did consider that as one of my points of the year, but on conclusion I deceided not to mention it.

The incident in question was the so called "Sharkbait" incident where QA Developer CCP Sharkbait was accused of joining the Goon's in an effort to spy on them. Well everyone with half a brain instantly realised it was total garbage (he's a Dev! if he wanted to spy he has pleanty of more subtle ways of doing it!)

It was soon proved to the satisfaction of nearly everyone else in the community that he hadn't been trying to help the goons, not spy on them. Also CCP handled it a lot better than they did the t20 incident.

So in conclusion, I my view, it was a minor incident which was briefly blown out of all perportion before things returned to sanity.

Still, of course, everyones list is different! Thanks for commenting :)
