Episode 10 Discussion Thread

I must admit that thing abut the "Free" "to" "Play" makes sense, I never thought of it like that before.

I agree about RuneScape, I actually played that FTP mmorpg several times over the years, I even told my daughter if she wanted, I would upgrade her acct to full member.

I would also have Dungeon runners and Pirates of the Caribbean on my list too

About croNous
Pro: Nothing on the radar telling you exactly were to go, I liked figuring out how to get to my goal.

Con: Text way too small. Respawn closer to your buddies in you group instead of respawning all the way back at the castle would be better. But I tried to make it fun anyways figure my way back to the group.

About that blogg about having to pay for a F2P game to enjoy it better or whatever.

I paid $50 for the entire game of Guild Wars and if you ask me it is way more free then croNous :) I enjoyed playing croNous but let's face it, it was because I was playing with you guys and friends from VW.

I would have to pay croNous developers $1000 in upgrades for whatever extras they could give me and it would not even EVER be close to how good Guild Wars is.

But F2P's are plenty of fun to play as long as you get together with friends

P.S. As log as you guys mentioned it again, I'll go with GW being a PersistantWorld PWORPG

Hey guys!

I haven't had time to listen to this podcast, but have you tried playing Runes of Magic? It seems like it could be one of the best F2P games available.
