'Good podcast!' by animagnum Submitted on 2008-10-02 17:28:19 CST Good podcast guys, you all had some interesting discussions. For a future show you might discuss some of the free-to-play browser-based MMOs out there. Ikariam, Tribal Wars, Travian, Tanoth, and Kingdom of Loathing are just a few of the ones available. Some of these are REALLY addicting and can be played on just about any web-enabled computer. They are not 'MMOs' in the typical sense, but they are definitely multiplayer games with hundreds if not thousands of players per server. If you look at any of the ones I mentioned, I'd definitely recommend checking out Ikariam. Looking forward to your next show!

'Holy Crap I got timed out..' by Beauturkey Submitted on 2008-10-02 18:01:30 CST Had a good comment I think... anyway, need to work on the sound quality BAADDDDDDDD.
Other than that, good show about games that make up the majority of the market! Have you tried Mabinogi yet? Its a great skill based game frequented by stupid Anime kids that say only "....." and make cute lil animal emoticon faces. I hate those kids.
But it's fun, curious as to what you thought about it.

'Awesome' by FarSpace Submitted on 2008-10-02 18:20:12 CST You guys are great, funny too, you seem like you've been friends a long time. That's cool. You can make fun of eachothr for one thing and all have different views and still show respect for eachother. And that makes it even better.
I found the show lots of fun to listen to, lots of good info and great points.
I did not see your blog in my travels but I'm glad i finaly got to here about it.
About in game advertising, I like it, it makes things more realistic and most add I have seen are entertaining, and I'm glad they are there knowing the game is better and you get more for free because of them.
Another great podcast at virginworlds, that is awesome.
'Responses' by Riknas Submitted on 2008-10-02 20:37:00 CST Beau Turkey: The sound quality has been mentioned privately on several occasions, and I will be discussing this with our new editor, at the time we did not have a specific editor, so we just used a back up one (Me), however you can expect improvements as time goes by as we each are given different aspects of the podcast to cover.
Animagun/FarSpace: Thanks for the suggestions in regards to MMOs, I have heard of most of them, and you have no idea how -huge- the list of MMOs I've compiled is, so no worries about content. In fact, it seems that every time I find one, another is released. It's like we'll never be able to catch up, which is fine with me, because that means plenty of podcasts to do and more games to play!
'Good Show' by BurntSushi Submitted on 2008-10-03 01:57:47 CST Good show guys and welcome to the collective. Don't worry about Beau's comment, it didn't sound that bad.
To Beau, the sound quality wasn't that BAADDDDDD. Just sounds like they were talking on headsets, nothing bad. I read your comment and while thinking a little tacky for saying that; I thought that I was going to hear static and crackling along with volume bouncing up and down. At least their show has some content ;)
'A good PvP & city building/seiging MMORPG' by Edward78 Submitted on 2008-10-04 14:48:02 CST http://chronicle.ubi.com/ it has to be the best one out, it was not always free, but it is not a item mall game.
'Holding off listening till it's up on iTunes!.....BUUUUT!' by Blamefulgecko Submitted on 2008-10-06 12:27:44 CST Heya I'm excited about having a show on the network that just focuses on FTP games! I'll throw my lot in also and say that Requiem: Bloodymare is a FTP MMO that is really feels unique. I'm new to the game and am trying to find time to play it in between WAR but the class I'm playing is just plain fun! Not sure where it is on that huge list of games but if you try it out the Soul Hunter is a caster class that has nuke spells it uses while running....yep pretty neat to have kiting as a mechanic that is built into the class!
