Episode 31 Discussion Thread

It's official, I'm now a Hunter named FarSpace & from Gondor.

The best thing I like about LotRO so far is you have to find were your going by reading the story, although I'm sure after you know your way around you don't have to read it, but the main thing is no GPS.

I'm playing Guild Wars too and there is GPS in that but for some reason it's fine too, I don't know I guess I like variety.

I must admit is hard for me to understand what I'm doing sometimes, but it's cool, like it took me a while to realize how to throw away my beginner weapons that I could not otherwise sell. But I won't give it away and spoil it for anyone else :)

Anyways I gave one of my brothers the DVD's so he could install it too and he will use 1 of the buddy keys. He's like "Can you jump?" I'm like yeah you can jump over something and over a cliff if you want, but then you will sprain your leg and walk really slow and limp for a while. He was like "Good I'll try it out then!' :)

I think I finally got my graphics settings right, and got them pretty high but no lag, and I only got an NVidia 7600 and an Athalon 1.8 GHz and 1 g ram

I still don't get most of everything so far but it sounds good, btw Guild Wars is also pretty good too, but in its own different way. So I guess you got good taste in mmo's as far as I know :)

You are slacking woman! This cast was way to short. Get back to work chop chop.. :)

Well I got my RK up to 60 a week ago and now in the process of finishing up the class quest and all the books. 5.5 book is a bitch, but I got the tricks down and some good tactics on how to beat it.

Now I am on the slow process of getting my radiant set for him... Fun Fun..

Mae Govannen, Mellon Sinaea

I have listened to your podcasts for awhile now and wanted to thank you for the awsome job you do getting the word out about this great game. I come to you tonight with an invitation to join me and my kinmates, the Celainedhil for our upcoming ingame event in Lotro. You can find the thread about the event on the official forums - http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?s=9fa8e41429ba47d4a7406a3deea3ea98&t=247086.

If you or your listeners are on a different server than me and my kin, feel free to roll a new toon and visit us at our Kin hall for the event. Details on the server and location is on the link, but if you need help getting there ingame you can message me under the name: Huralagos. Please feel free to let others know about the event as it is open to the entire playerbase.

Take care and catch you on the virtual.

I went to the forum link and read it, & that sounds really great, especially the Dramatic Interpretation of the Tale of Beren and Luthien.
And this:
~Ale and Pipeweed
~Music provided by the Eriador Music Society
~Dramatic Interpretation of the Tale of Beren and Luthien
~Love poem contest

I live in Nimrodel but I will visit the Elendilmir. The address: Two Rivers Pub, 8 Waterbank Road, I'm not familiar with I don't think but I'll ask for direction no problem.

There's always a chance I could get kidnapped by some brigands and not be able to show up but most likely I'll make it. :)

I went to the link to find out the info again on were to go and it did not work, maybeit's a good idea to put more of the info in the comments, oh well maybe next time now that I got a character on the Elendilmir server ready to go and gone through the tutorial stage.

'What happened to Lady Sinaea?' by Coolmetric

It has been quite a while since the last podcast and that one was very short. I get the impression Lady Sinaea is tired of LOTRO, podcasting and very, very busy in RL. Possibly all three. I really enjoy the podcast and hope it will continue.

Hey sorry to hear you had problems finding the way to the party. We are an "Mostly" Elven kinship, so our housing is right outside the Elven Starter Area [Extreme West of the Shire]. We actually have two Kin halls in our housing instance as our leader has a second account. He made the second Kin Hall into a RP Pub and this is where we held the party at.

I wasnt the one putting together the event, and the Lotro Forum Mods had to approve the post before I could start putting the word out myself, which led to a last minute type shout-out. I will keep in mind to add my own indepth directions to the event next time though, as we do want as many to attend as possible.

There is talk of doing an Encore performance of the play, as it was really well received, so I will drop the info on that if it happens. Just before the play, we did an induction ceremony for one of our recent recruits all in roleplay style, it is an awsome rp session with the inductie telling their backstory and getting crafted gifts from their sponsers and leadership. I didnt get to stay for the poetry contest part of the event as I had to work that night :-(
