'Angmar' by animagnum Submitted on 2008-07-14 21:35:41 CST I have really enjoyed leveling in Angmar. The quests are very enjoyable and seem to give a decent amount of XP. Prior to going to Angmar I was in Forochel, which was okay, but it was difficult for a solo player like myself. Another area where I enjoyed leveling was the North Downs. Like Angmar, the North Downs has a very diverse landscape with a good mix of mobs and quest areas.
On the other side of the coin, I have been unhappy with the Misty Mountains. I know that it is home to some of the endgame content, but the lower level stuff there seems like it was just thrown together. The level design is really annoying because the narrow passages make some of the quests almost impossible. Too much aggro in tight spaces is a pain. Despite my whining, I still think it's worth visiting for some of the early- to mid-40s quests.
