Enjoy the show, as always very entertaining!
I did want to ask who the female jazz singer was in the bumpers between sections. She had a wonderful voice.

The female Jazz singer is not one woman but three. I will be happy to put a run down on noprisonersnomercy.com if you would like. Consider it Jazz diva week in an attempt to interest our listeners in the works of this wonderful music.
The sultry voice you hear at the start of the show and in the most of the remaining bumpers is none other than Peggy Lee. The last two are Melody Gardo who has a voice so smooth it is beyond belief...and what an inspiring story her life has been. The woman on the exist music is Sarah Vaughan.
Thanks for listening

Thank you for the names, I'm going to go out and buy some songs today. Their voices were amazing. I love to listen to that sort of music while trying to relax.

You are quite welcome. In fact each time I explore a new type of music for the segues/bumpers I try and find artists that might not be that well known, might not be well known to U.S. audiences or to a particular generation.
And so I have discovered the dulcet tones of another jazz singer - you will hear a sampling from her next time.
