Welcome to show 63. This week we start off with a pre-show with discussion of some of the news of the week, including Eve Online planetary expansion. In the second half of the show we welcome Ravious from Kill Ten Rats, Saylah from Mystic Worlds, and Tipa from West Karana in the second round of a team-tag grudge match: Ravious vs. Saylah and Tipa (O.K. so it was more of a polite, "miff match").

First of, thanks to Ravious for being a calm reasonable voice in this debate.
Thanks also for the nood in the begining of the podcast. Hey I'm Famous!
However, It's time to end this one. I heard nothing from either Tipa or Saylah that was new. While Tipa makes some rational arguments, albiet wrong-headed, they have at least a basis in reality. Saylah not so much. It would be better of NPNM could get a few different guests to round table this subject without whining, emotive, breathless nerd-rage.
My enthusium for this podcast wanes lately. Perhaps it's time for a lineup change.
My $.02 which combined with two pennies from the couch will net you $.02.

So, this is Sr. Fran, along with Sr. Julie, writing in reply to your comment Checksix. What or rather, who, would you LIKE to hear on the show. Bear in mind that we have asked probably about 100 people to be on our show, and the ones you have heard, are the ones who have said "yes". Would you like to be on the show? We would LOVE to interview you, and hear YOUR opinions...for real, and sincerely, we mean this. Would you like to be on our show? And anyone else out there who has a comment burning a hole in their stomachs, PLEASE let us know....we LOVE a good round table or banter between us and our guests! You are always treated with respect, as you have heard from our past shows. Even if we disagree with someone, we are usually respectful about it. So, what'll it be...Checksix?

I would like to hear YOU and FRAN. You two are the stars of this show as far as I'm concerned. I've listened to this show from the first episode for a reason...it was you and then you and Fran.
That being said, I love the interviews with industry people. I find the production challenges for producing MMO's interesting and I always like to try to read between the lines when industry professionals are interviewed. Professionally, I'm a software engineer so I love to hear interviews with people producing software in any field. And since I'm a die hard gamer too...more the better.
Also, I'm flattered you would consider having me on your show but really, I'm nobody and I don't consider my opinions espically insiteful or even relevant. I don't want to be a critic but thats what I've been lately. I apologise about that. It wasn't my intention to tell you what you should be doing with your own show. I honestly wanted to just let you know that I (one guys opnion) liked the show more in it's previous format.
Also, have you ever heard the expression "he has a face for radio"? Well...I have a voice for print.
Humbly yours,
Checksix

I am always a little disappointed to hear Julie and Fran take a back seat on a show. The points brought up by Ravenous and Saylah were fairly whimsical and went back and fourth like a couple of Oblivion NPC's. I'm always glad to hear a new show though so i'll stop trolling now. I cant remember if you mentioned APB, I tried it out last night and it's buggy and laggy as hell, very dissappointed ATM.

Sort of. Next show its back to the old format (for the most part). We have yet to discuss APB, but it will be next show (but not in the status as a review). No back seats next show/

I bought APB and have been playing for a week now, tons of fun and frustration in equal measure. It isn't too laggy or buggy though I think that was my friends rubbish computer, it runs like a dream for me. The upgrades are way overpowered and will probably kill the game though, the new player experience is extremely harsh. I love this game and I hope they make the changes it badly needs and it'll be great.
