You're awesome. You know it. Modesty is all fine but...
Since I've been on hiatus since about July/August -08 I'm listening to all the old shows. I'm on #6 now. Listened to #5 today on my way to work. Had to pull over and stop because I was laughing so hard at the Hip Hop Hell segment. Top notch stuf
Keep the shows coming, sisters. I'll do my best to get back to current shows.

ok now im being sarcastic =P
no i think it was a great show. much better commentary/analysis then all of the other podcasts on VW. u gals call it the way it is, not the way MMO marketing departments want it called. way to keep ur head up.
ps: u girls should do a video podcast someday!
'About potions in Warhammer' by BurntSushi

I am posting this while I am listening to the show. In a recent patch Mythic has enabled it so if you die and have a potion active it will remain when you respawn or rez.

I think I look at PvP as a fun side activity and if it offers some reward then good. I am a PvE'er at heart. Why then I love WAR over WoW? I find the RvR much more fun then PvP in WoW also the ToK, aet, etc of Warhammer.
I can see if a player relied on heavy PvP only then WAR offers a quick burn out. gor me I like to see more PvE that also help in RvR in WAR.
Darkfall .. not my kind of game. However, hope it does good as I like to here what goes on in that flavor of game (Dark, EvE, etc).
Great Show (hope to cya in April)

@ Token...
Actually I don't recall either of us ranting about anything in this particular show. Most of it was spent comparing Darkfall to Warhammer and discussing whether or not Darkfall is providing what Warhammer is missing (and I think it does).
On the other hand...if it's rants you want, show 27 was just uploaded. We call that show "The Adventures of Nakedman". That has some heated discussion but still no rants. I haven't actually done a "mad as hell" in several episodes.

I'm not a writer so maybe I have the wrong word. Lots of opinions, lots of emotions, criticisms.

I think it was this episode where you referred to some of the fun role-playing elements of a historical MMO like Ultima Online. One particular commentary was referencing the red bandana enforcing fellow but you couldn't recall the name. He was called Adam Ant, in a guild called GUL (Guardian of the Undead Lords) on the Napa shard. I believe he patrolled areas where the Lich spawned. One of the requirements of GUL was to protect the Lich by attacking anyone battling the creatures. The other was to attack anyone in "controlled" zones who was not wearing the required red banadana. Non-compliant folks that were killed in those areas were gifted with a "death pack" containing supplies, a book of rules and a red bandana to wear! Another group on Napa was the T'keir family who set up a desk, chair and toll-taker outside a dungeon. Paying the relatively inexpensive toll allowed you not only to be not killed by the Tkeir but also gave you a degree of protection from other players in addition to resurrection, loot recovery and other medical services!
This was all happening more than 8 years ago! While there were no game mechanics in play to enable this, I have to admit I was only too happly to play along :)

Up and at 'em ATOM ANT...
Yes indeed that was the fellow. Memories of a happier time in gaming. Truly the good old days (ok - to an extent). I am glad you have a good memory. I will make sure this gets read on the next show.
