The guild Wars song sounded Epic and Adventurous it was like listening to a battle seen and then the adventuring between. I just started playing Guild Wars & I was thinking the music was really turning out to be one of my favorites, it fits with the world nicely & I like it too anyways. Yippee for Guild Wars!
I bought Unreal again once because it had a CD of the Unreal sound Track included. I'm going to look for games music tracks on I-tunes I think.
I"˜m glad you did this, thanks, it was a nice show to listen too :) In fact I for one would love hear this type of podcast any time anyone wanted to do it.

If you have not seen it yet, there is a symphony orchestra performance that plays game music (PLAY! - http://www.play-symphony.com/) which plays all over the world.
'Awesome' by robg Submitted on 2009-01-02 04:03:42 CST Thanks guys, I really enjoyed the show. I often tune into Radio Rivendell while grinding away in whatever game. The Darwinia track brought back some memories...I miss the good ol' 8-bit days :)
'Great idea for a show.' by welshtroll Submitted on 2009-01-02 20:38:37 CST The 8 bit classic was awesome and had me all inspired to get my emulator out once again. R-type to the rescue!
As you mentioned the Halo 3 music and how it altered by story, I've always admired the Planetside music, it was well designed to fade between track each planetside ave it's own theme. Additionally once you were familiar with the game you would notice the music change indicating how the battle was going, all rather neat.
The Homeworld piece was great, I have played in the last 6 months and the music is creepy at time when you are all alone in space.
Another recent piece I enjoyed was the chase music in Assassins creed, got the blood pumping.
'Assassins Creed' by Jon Submitted on 2009-01-02 21:37:07 CST I only have a few pieces from Assassin's Creed (the WAVs they put out), I'm still looking for the others. I'll play some next year :)

'Nice work' by Sinaea Submitted on 2009-01-05 07:40:55 CST I liked your first music show some months ago, and enjoyed this one as well. A lot of Guild Wars music still brings tears to my eyes (yeah, I'm a sap). Good show, and hope to hear more music episodes in the future.
'Great music!' by FraidOfTheLight Submitted on 2009-01-10 14:45:59 CST Hi guys, and a happy new year.
I'm a big fan of film and game soundtracks, so this podcast was just my kind of thing.
Just wanted to list some of my favourite game music, which includes:
- Myst (now available on CD)
- Deus Ex (particularly the music from the Hong Kong section)
- World of Warcraft (sorry) (but the music in Ashenvale really creeped me out the first time I heard it, and some of the new WotLK soundtracks are really evocative)
- And of course, Super Mario Brothers! (check out http://www.videogamepianist.com/).
