The music for this weeks show: "Rainbow Connection" by Kermit the Frog. This was Kermits major hit, which
was, according to his closest sources, about snorting angeldust off the butt of a swine. Years later he said of the song: "I hated it. I hated singing it, and I hated that g**damn banjo. Plunk plunk. I wanted to shove it straight up that guys *ss."
'So long poly-rockets' by telstar Submitted on 2008-09-04 23:54:51 CST Where did you find that Vanguard clip at the beginning and what game console was that for? I know I must have played it. I googled it but couldn't find anything on it.
Just wanted to write in and say that even though I love Vanguard, the game still has so many bugs that became very frusterating. I found that the stuttering video (hitching), freezing, stucks, rubber-banding mobs, stretchy armed NPC's and other issues have left me feeling that the game is not worth $14.99/month. The last straw for me was getting stuck in the air for over an hour before I just shut the game off. I would certainly pay less to play the game but then I understand that the game would never get fixes and updates if the sub was reduced. Sony needs to make a commitment to Vanguard to do the right thing and put more people on the project.
As most people will say Vanguard is not a "Bad" game because of the bugs. I just don't feel like it is ethical for Sony to charge a full subscription price for a game that is not a quality experience.
I wanted to say thank you again for the podcast and I will of course continue to listen. I listen to most MMO podcasts event though I don't play all the games.
'I hear ya man!' by Beauturkey Submitted on 2008-09-05 07:37:03 CST Check back after this patch though, there are 2500 plus bug fixes in it, as well as the new content.
Now you can see why the devs have been talking that all they have been doing lately is getting the game running better. The game client has to be polished up, and since i have been playing they have been doing that.
Anyway, good luck...seriously check back after this next patch..should be soon! See ya soon!
