The dynamic duo, at the Voyages of Vanguard, invite Benjamin De la Durantaye on to the show. Ben, otherwise known as Machail in game and as the leader of his guild, Agony's End, talks about his experiences in APW. Ben has allot of information about the next Game Update and we are honored to have him stop in and tell us what he knows. Following the discussion on APW and the Test Server, Beau has returned and is eager to talk about his newbish experiences in Vanguard.

Good to hear from you guys, and nice to have Ben on with his pre-APW info.

There was some unfortunate background noise behind you at times Troy. I'm only guessing but... maybe a hot water system or something in your basement? I'm guessing it would be hard to eliminate that noise, but it's worth considering.

Hey!

The noise is my evil dishwasher that knows when I am recording and turns on just at the wrong time. We also had some irritating noise on Ben's side from a creaky chair. I apologize for both of them.

I need to coordinate with the higher gods of water to make sure that the dishes are done before the show starts. I also heard the creak of the chair, but thought I could get rid of it in post production.

I'm enjoying Beau's commentary at the end of the show. I got my new comp set up today and dusted off the gnome bloodmage I had left by the wayside last winter. I blew most of my evening doing the starter diplomacy quests. My first go at Vanguard I brushed off diplomacy completely, but I have to say it's quite addictive and very well done. I was impressed with the way NPC stories of deceit and intrigue unfold as you progress through those starter quests.

Good show, gang! I also like Beau Turkey's comments as well. Perhaps you can have a show about tech specs to play Vanguard well, i.e. OS, graphic card, motherboard, RAM. Listeners can email their specs on PC's that run it well and have comments. I'll send mine to you sometime.

I enjoyed the APW info as well. Sounds like a lot of fun and danger!

It's interesting about the tech specs thing, because the next update will address alot of the issues...I'm sure Troy will talk bout it. It will prolly help out performance a ton...we'll see.

Whenever I am into vanguard I love to listen to your podcast. I just resubbed to Vanguard and would love to know your guy's in game names!
