This week in episode 18, Troy takes the opportunity to shout out to several new and old friends. He is elated that the Voyages of Vanguard Friends' Network is finally seeing the light of day and is encouraging players on Seradon or Xeth to join the vovfriends chat channel. Troy brings back the tips of the week, and has several new tips as well as a couple of old tips to tell the listeners. Starting this week, Troy starts a new segment called The Classes of Vanguard, and talks about the Protective Fighter class of characters. Rounding out the show, Troy is excited about Brotherhoods. Troy sits down with Johnathan from The Online Gamer's Anthology and talks about the Big J's new monster video card. Troy wraps the show up with is current rant about why does his toons have all the fun and he has to work and do all the chores around the house.

Hi Troy,

Still listening to the podcast, but I think the new loot class between 'Heroic' and 'Legendary' is 'Fabled'. It's already a search option on the broker, although I've never seen an item yet.

and the autojoin can actually join several together:

eg: /autojoin set regionsay,auction,craft,dip,vovfriends

Hey Everyone,

I would like to correct a mistake that I made last podcast. I recorded the interview with Johnathan before I had a real chance to test out this Vista Memory Patch. I still think that the patch is a valid fix; I am still testing it and will give you a follow up.

I think many of my crashes is not from the patch, but from some issues introduced in the last patch.

If you are using Vista, I would suggest trying the patch. Always make a Restore point before applying any such patch, of course.

I just wanted too let you know too keep up the good work with your POD cast I have stoped my SOE all pass and account with Vanguard but I still listen too your POD casts. I hope to come back too the game one of these days but for now I need too focus on the other realm real life :(..
