This week Troy talks about the Hot Fix of August 22nd and the changes they made. Troy is also exciting, and very nervous, about his upcoming discussion with the Diplomatic Lead, Steve Williams. Thanks for the encouragement and the vote of confidence in the show. I can't think of a better compliment than to tell me that it was because of VoV that you decided to buy the game or return to it.

I can't download half the podcasts right now - is anyone else thaving the same problem?

Still no SUYT#7 or VoV#16 or EQUAL, but I did get the new VW podcast...

Just putting the final touches on an interview I had with Steve Williams this week. I first, want to thank him so much for letting me have this interview: very kind of him during a very hectic week at Vanguard.

For those of who don't know Steve, he is the diplomatic lead and co-designer of the diplomacy sphere, and also a game designer for Vanguard.

I hope everyone will download this interview and comment on what he had to say.

love your shows matey, i have been a avid listener of your show sence day 1 1st show! As l like to play the game & hope to get the inside info of the game that you supply to a Tee!! Great STUFF mate.As being Australian l dont get to play with many groups as times zones are differant so like yourself l tend to solo 98% of the time. I have a lvl 16 druid player by the names of ARCAIN DREAMWALKER who is like a enternal champion.As he plays in other worlds by the same name! Ever Quest 2 lvl 70 WOW lvl 31 & a few single player rpgs. & vanguard.I would love to maybe catchup with you ingame when the server merge come into play! I find we would have a lot in common & would talk for hours about the this game & others.Any way got to go once again great stuff matey!
PS Any chance you could shout a hello to Aussie ARCAIN DREAMWALKER on 1 of the podcasts.

I am looking forward to hearing the interview next week. Diplomacy is one of the most visionary aspects of Vanguard, which will distinguish it from the rest. I read something about their future views on game economics and international trade other groundbreaking stuff, so I hope this got covered:)

I'm glad we've got all the nation descriptions out of the way - have never been a fan of these types of listings on a podcast - what about some ideas on which races/classes are the most fun to play, since you've tried most of them at least to a low level?

Anyway - thanks for your efforts to keep the podcast on track with new and innovative stuff. And fingers crossed you get many more interviews in the future.

Hello everyone!

If you are playing on the Seradon server, join the channel vovfriends, its part of the friends network that I spoke of so long ago. Its a place for friends to talk about the game without the hassles of griefers, jerks, and spoilers.

Varka and I (Pidge, Ratook, and Dagulas) have been using the channel to talk about game events, hooking up groups, and game discussion. Everyone is welcome.

Also, I would love for anyone on the Xeth server to start a vovfriends channel as well, and perhaps I can talk to the people at vanguard to see if there is a way to hook the two channels together.
