'Nice' by darrenl Submitted on 2007-05-17 08:49:22 CST ...good job sir. Looking forward to the next show.
'iTunes?' by Wilhelm2451 Submitted on 2007-05-17 13:52:20 CST I see iTunes is coming soon. Will this be on the same pipe as classic VW, or will the collective have its own syndication channel?
'solo' by Brent Submitted on 2007-05-17 13:55:08 CST Voyages of Vanguard has its own RSS feed, hence it will also have its own iTunes entry. It was decided that we didn't want to clog your iPod or your internet tubes with MMO podcasts unless you did it willfully. :)
'Nice :)' by Maess Submitted on 2007-05-17 15:17:50 CST Great cast overall.
However, I wonder why there was no discussion of the dupe issues or the associated economic issues?
Nice tip on the /flush. I've also found that hitting the Windows key or alt-tabbing and then going back in to the game clears the issue.
'Yay! VG Podcast' by varka Submitted on 2007-05-17 20:55:34 CST Awesome man.
I was sad when telconcast stopped broadcasting, so I'll love hearing more from you.
Also, I believe there is an anwser to your UI problem. Try "/uisave " after you have it all setup the way you want it. Then if VG ever resets your UI just type "/uiload ". It helps if you drop them on a hotbar as macros, and there is also an XML file in the file system you can backup with that name.
'Errr' by varka Submitted on 2007-05-17 20:59:33 CST Can't see a way to edit my comment above, but those macros should read "/uisave name" and "/uiload name".
Brent maybe the comments should run through something like this on the way out of the (DB, I assume).
echo htmlSpecialChars($comment);
'You wanted other tips' by varka Submitted on 2007-05-17 21:32:29 CST I suppose I should have listened to the whole thing before posting, but now I have here's another tip I think all new players should know.
Often I find myself trying to harvest a node and it won't let me, returning a message like "cannot harvest at this time". A lot of people put this down to a bug and walk away (I did too for a long time), but often you can type '/endharvest' and try again and it works.
'Congratulations' by scytale2 Submitted on 2007-05-18 05:32:30 CST Clearly you are a very experienced guy and I have seen some of your TSR products up on the RPGNow site.
Even high calibre people such as yourself deserve the plaudits, so thanks - much aprpeciated, even though I don't play Vanguard any more, or at least until I can get a setup like the one you now have.
0.8FPS in an almost deserted Martok had a very strong ring of truth to me.

Good not to hear any pointless expletives too:)
