Travels with Troy #10
Mon, 9 Feb 2009 00:15:00 GMT [download/play]

Hello everyone and welcome back to episode number ten of the Travels with Troy.  In this week's show we talk about my return to Everquest (otherwise known as Evercrack) and an interview with Karen from a number of podcasts at Virginworlds.  I talk about my Nintendo DS and the games I have been playing -- its a fun platform game, but not life altering.

I also talk about my Monday night gaming, presently playing Civilization IV with Joe and Wade.

EVERQUEST!!! Oh my I never thought I would get hooked on the game again -- the power of EQ is just as powerful as it was 10 years ago.  I have been playing nonstop, getting into trouble by almost missing work and family events.  Grouping in the game is just as fun as it was a decade ago.

I always enjoy hearing from my listeners and if you would like to drop me a line, send you emails to

I briefly touch on my job, the weather, and all the fun activities I have been doing.  Sit back and enjoy the show.

I"m guessing you're from the UK, Australia or some other part of the world that speaks 'real' English. It's one thing that REALLY bugs me about US English, but over here (I'm a Brit in the US) it's perfectly valid to use the word addicting.

I know it doesn't make sense, you know it doesn't make sense, but for some reason it's in the US lexicon. Makes my cringe every time I hear it, no offense... :)
