Listening now...sounds cool. I'm very excited to hear ya back, man. Looking forward to many of these.
It's good that you're doing a show that your able to talk about anything with. I have wanted to do something like that, but I am bad at keeping mythoughts together for ONE topic, much less many, lol.
Good to hear your voice again man!

Hey Troy, really enjoyed the podcast. You have some very interesting ideas on RPG rules that are very thought-provoking. I am definitely looking forward to next week's episode!

Nice show i really enjoyed listening. :)

I just thought I would mention that eve online allows ppl of all skills abbilties to play together and have a impact in the fight. Infact the roles that noobs usually have are vital to a battle (a takler or EW).

I liked your style when you did Voyages but didn't listen much because I don't play Vanguard. I enjoy this as it is general in nature and will likely listen regularly.

PS - I almost had a nerdgasm looking at that Phantasm .pdf.

I thought this was an interesting podcast, but I do feel that you need to home in on exactly what it is we're are going to be expecting to gain from listening.

Travels with Troy is in danger of being "I'll decide what's in the podcast, when I get there" and whilst we can always rely on you for some interesting ideas, it would be helpful to you and listeners to know a bit more what we are to expect.

I also feel that Brent should be a bit more hardnosed about this issue will all podcasts on this site. It is a privilege for people to be allowed to be hosted here and so they need to work towards providing distinctiveness and not just rely on "mates" to constinue to listen regardless of the content.

OMG RL is a good example of a distinctive podcast. Jonathan's review of gaming and MMO history is another. The plethora of EVE podcasts, the chat podcasts all need to carve out a niche for themselves, which is more distinctive than they currently have.

I'm a listener:)

Greetings to All,

The Travels with Troy is really just about that; my travels and adventures in the lands of MMOs. Aside from the games that I play, I also talk about ideas of my own creative works, that often run parallel with gaming.

With an opinion piece full of editorials and self-examinations, it would be very difficult to be more definitive than that.

I will try very hard to put a "Troy" signature on each and every show -- trying to make it very distinctive from others in the collective.

I am also very grateful that Brent has offered me place at Virginworlds -- it is an honor to be amongst these other wonderful shows.

I hope everyone gives my show a couple of episodes to take form; and by all means continue to appraise my work and give me feedback.
