TabulaCast Episode 10
Fri, 8 Feb 2008 05:19:00 GMT [download/play]

John from Tabula Blogger joins me once again for this episode, where we discuss our experiences with Patch 1.4 so far, and what to look forward to in Patch 1.5 already.

We also read through some email and answer some listener questions and concerns.

Expect another show fairly soon because we didn't even get to talk about everything we had planned to in this episode! The next episode will not only be mainly about the Ranger, but also about some feedback that John has received regarding the 50 free 3-day trail keys he's been giving away, courtesy of NCSoft!

If you're still in need of a key, and you wouldn't mind telling us about your initial experiences with the game, head on over to Tabula Blogger and send a message to John (on his Tabula Blogger profile) and let him know.

While you're over there, be sure to check out the new European MOG clan that John has set up.

At the end of this episode, I do a little pimping for my new podcast novel due out on March 1st. You can head on over to EveofAdam.com for more information on this.

The theme song this episode is "Yesterday's News" by Knacker.

Nice work Shawn and John.
Because of this podcast and the blog over at Tabula Blogger I am going to give Tabula Rasa a go.
Just waiting for my new PC to arrive and I'll be all set.....might even be onto John for a key if there are any left.

Thanks for the comment.

I am out of the official keys, but I have a few from my account. If you need one just ask.

John

Shuttler, I was a bit surprised when you said the trial keys would work for any region.

For the referral trial keys at least they have to be matched with a retail code for the same region. You could still play at any server though of course, just need to consider from where the retail is bought.

Hey Sente

Well, the trial keys can be used in any region for trial purposes which is what I was stating in my conversation.

You are correct in that the referral trial keys when upgraded to a retail account needed a matching key from the same region so thanks for the heads-up for everyone!. I'll try and get some clarification from community manager Avatea to clear this up and see if it is the same with these keys.

I hope you enjoy the podcast Sente?

By the way Sente, are you the Sente from A Ding World?

If so I love you blog, and it was one of the things that inspired me to start Tabula Blogger!

Yes, that's my blog. And thanks for the kind words!
That is really cool to hear that it provided some inspiration :)

'Trial Keys Confirmation from Avatea' by shuttler

The ever so nice Avatea has responded to my email already. It's easier to quote the message...

"So those keys are exactly the same as the friend referral ones that you can upgrade with retail keys (standard or collector), however only with European retail keys."

So yes anyone can use them to test the game out, however if you want to upgrade the account you will need to use a retail key from the same region.

Thanks again Sente for pointing this out.
