Troy and Karen return for the one-year anniversary of EQual Perspective and excitedly talk about the summer events of Everquest II. Rounding out the show is a discussion on dual boxing, a shout-out to Cauolin and Dave at EQ-IQ, the gigglegibber goblin, Sony Fan Faire, and the summer blockbuster game update 47. The duo talk about the storms and the horrific mobs that emanate from the black cloud and the treasure that it may hold. they also talk about experience bonus weekend. The evil witch of the west foiled my attempts of putting up the new show banner, but I have prepared a bucket of water for her next time. Join Karen and I in two weeks, and this time I promise to have the new show banner in place.
It also seems like the gremlins, or maybe the flying monkey's got into my show notes and scrambled all of my character data -- will need to look into that as well.

That's a crazy amount of characters right there. :)
Just coming by to poke you guys, *poke* when's the next show coming out? We're missing you!! It's always more enjoyable to level up crafting with Equal Perspectives in the background.
I'd love to hear what you both think of game update 49 it was quite awesome, my favorite part would have to be without question the multi core support, my game now runs superb on my dual core, finally yays! Never thought that would ever happen honestly.
Guild Halls, haven't been in one yet but I hear they are quite impressive, we will be able to scale furniture soon too! Being a furniture nut I'm really excited for that one. The Shadow Odyssey pre-orders are a bit unfair in my view. I'd love the dire bear mount that levels with you (like how cool is that?), but I can't order it over where I live without paying lots of shipping... And the download version doesn't have it, it has a void beast in glass cage. Which is neat too, but why can't both versions, digital and boxed have the same items offered? >

I am returning to podcasting, and Karen and I are working to get a show out here very soon.
I am all stoked up about the new Sony Marketplace -- I have an excellent commentary at my wordpress blog called Emeraldtablet. I am also fired up about talking about the most recent expansion.

I was wondering if you can tell me maybe about something?
Or maybe you have already talked about it and you can point me to the correct podcast #'s
Here is the thing, I played EQII II 3 times now, and I wanted to maybe get into EQII again one of these days but I wanted to not go through the old content that I went through yrs ago.
So can you tell us how to enjoy the new expansions right away or is it possible? Or do I need to level like I did yrs ago or can I start in the new areas and get the better upgraded experience that is in the newest expansions right away?
I think I heard a little about this someware on virginworlds but nothing to much and I can't remember were now either.
