You have produced a great show, once again. I laughed at your initial segment -- you amaze me with your creative energies, funny voices, and the way you can nail the subject so well. ((Did I hear the mighty Ratook in that conversation))
I listened intently to your program and it brought back so many fond, and not so fond memories. From a long time ago, when I was calling different BBS systems I used to have to call long distance numbers. Thats just how it was back then, well I didn't realize one time that the number was an international number and it ended up costing my over 400 dollars in long distance charges! GAH! I am glad the internet is not like that today.
I hope your dad is feeling better, and I was crossing my fingers all day long as you instructed -- did the Red Wings win?
Cannot wait until your next show.
Also, thanks for the shout out, I truly appreciate your compliments and encouragment for Vanguard and for the Voyages of Vanguard!

Been waiting for a new show, as always you deliver. Keep up the great work, I take a walk down memory lane every time I listen

Another good episode! I thoroughly enjoyed it even tho I didn't know what a BBS was before the show. Thanks for "schoolin" me. =)
I also hope you dad is doing well.

Thanks very much for all of your kind comments :) Just returned from Detroit and it looks like my father is doing well. And hopefully, my feet touching the ground in Michigan hasn't cursed my beloved Red Wings from attempting to win this year ;)
@Shalimar Yes, that was indeed Ratook making a cameo ;) I knew you'd get a kick out of that.

Sorry, I just cannot listen to this podcast again because you keep saying that damn phrase every 3.1 seconds and it drives me *%£$ crazy!!
By alll means say it a couple of times but its way overdone. Otherwise not bad.

Wow this is the best show ever! That guest you had on from GuildCast is a genius, and I bet he's dashingly handsome too!1
Hehe, seriously though, great show once again. I loved the skits and the history behind your own BBS experience was really informative.
Thanks again for having me on the show, it was a blast.

@Monstage I appreciate your comments. I'm always looking for ways to make the show better. Since a great deal of the show is usually my memories of these older games, you tend to hear me a bit unscripted. Sometimes I get so enthusiastic about what I'm talking about, I dont realize how I sound until later. I'll try to watch how I talk in the future and make sure I'm not repeating phrases quite so much.
I'd hate for that to be the primary reason you don't want to listen anymore. I promise we have some great things to talk about. :)

Thats ok. Didn't mean to sound like a moany old git!! Its good to hear enthusiasm though and I do like the subjects you have been covering.
As a little incentive I think you should have a "back in the day" allowance. You can say it three times per podcast but after that Monstage the Ranger will shoot a fire arrow in your general direction!! Maybe even a homing fire arrow :)

Oh man, the nostalgia was running so thick as I listened to this podcast it was amazing. You really managed to take me back to the old days when I too ran a BBS with a C64 and eventually an Amiga 500. I really enjoyed the show and the way you put it all together. Thanks so much!
