'Very interesting' by Token Submitted on 2008-11-03 17:00:43 CST The world of next gen mmo's is becoming clearer. Sony's new projects, Bioware's Star Wars. Now if only we knew what Blizzard up to.
'Reading and Story' by FarSpace Submitted on 2008-11-03 18:53:15 CST It can be hard for me to fallow the amount of story that Bioware can give to us, but now that I'm better at reading whole books like Empyrean Age(EVE) and the Freedom Phalanx(City of Heroes) I think I will immensely enjoy TOR and looking forward to it.
I give most of the credit for me reading in life to my Daughter though, she is so good at it and after we started reading her higher grade level books together for the fun of it I finally got my brain around it.
The Blogs are getting easier to, it helps having all the links here at VirginWorlds, so I'm looking forward to reading the articles on the website here Brent was talking about will happen in the future.
@ Token "Now if only we knew what Blizzard up to" Oh yeah, how about bringing Sci-Fi to the masses? Maybe with the WoS (World of StarCraft) and then many more people might start seeing the other Sci-Fi games that need more people like Tabula Rasa.
And TOR, I do love reading stories and getting into other worlds like when reading books, and personally I could not rap the story's in MMO's and RPG games around my head until I finally got my self to be able to read books all the way to the end finally in life.
P.S. Good to hear your voice again Brent.
P.S.S. And to all out there who were thinking of helping to support Virginworlds, I recommend doing what you can, it is worth it, and feels gooood :)
'Where for art thou, Robotic Brent?' by Floss Submitted on 2008-11-04 03:10:18 CST Great show Brent and gratz on "dinging" target No. 2 for the site.
Onwards and upwards to target 3.
Have to agree with the comments on story line, it should be way up there at the top with good game play looking over it's shoulder.
P.S. T-shirts? ;-)
'Loot driven?' by Viruzzz Submitted on 2008-11-04 11:18:15 CST You said something about starwars not being loot driven,I'm not sure I agree with that. The jedi order is all about skill and accomplishment in the movies and games, but The sith lords in games always seem to be driven by "loot" in the form of incredibly powerful ancient artifacts or things like that to make them more powerful.
'Gratz on 3 years of Virginworls!!!' by FarSpace Submitted on 2008-11-04 23:55:57 CST I just listened to this episode again and it did not pass me up this time around, I noticed you saying VirginWorlds has been around for over 3 yrs now, so congratulations or Gratz!!! on the 3 anniversary ding!
'Onward to the 3rd Goal' by Dewar Submitted on 2008-11-05 17:52:08 CST I'm glad that I could help out in completing goal #2. Though I don't comment I here much, I listen to quite a few of the podcasts in the collective. I'm glad there's one place I can look to find so much goodness.
