You all probably noticed the fancy little page curl up in the corner and what lies beyond. I am guessing there might be some comments and thoughts on that topic so I'm opening up this entry for comments. Thanks much.
Comments: 'One-time paypal donations' by Scott Submitted on 2007-11-20 18:34:02 CST I'd suggest letting folks also do non-subscription donations. Between running various service websites or community sites that offered subscriptions and then switching to offering set one-time donations in standard intervals like 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 12 month, I found those to be well recieved. Or at the very least just one option to donate without a subscription.
Users also appreciated having a small graphic alongside their profile/name across the website reflecting them as a website supporter.
'Fortuity Media, LLC?' by StErroneous Submitted on 2007-11-21 01:08:53 CST I've never heard of them before and their website is concise. Perhaps drop us an explanation somewhere of VW's business relationship with them, if you think that's appropriate.
The UK/USA exchange rate is making me feel quite generous. ;)
'Kudos for Trying to Keep VirginWorlds a True Collective' by James Submitted on 2007-11-21 12:07:34 CST I hope all the folks who enjoy the site and podcasts show their financial support. There really is NOTHING like VirginWorlds elsewhere within the gaming community. Member support will keep this site a true collective and spare us unsightly banner ads and the corporate agendas advertisers bring with them. At $4 a month, the basic membership isn't a lot to ask for. Considering we pay $14.99 a month for a game sub or .99 for a song on iTunes, we'll get a lot more bang for our buck here. And Brent, Guinness is good for you.
'I signed up' by pvthudson Submitted on 2007-11-22 09:35:08 CST We dont this site having any troubles and going away, I will buy Brent a beer!
'from Ammon777' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2007-11-22 13:48:13 CST You do not know me (I'm sure you dont, lol) but I will support VirginWorlds collective since I am an avid downloader of these files. I actually listen to majority of these podcasts on winamp while I play MMORPGs like World of Warcraft and EVE Online -- THROUGH SPEAKERS! lololol... I have listened to these podcasts for about 6 months now and I want Brent and crew to stay around for a long, long time, so you have my full $4.00 per month support indefinately, Brent & crew.
And I hope someday there will be a Darkfall Online podcast here, if/when that game comes out. Darkfall is my favorite MMO concept, lol...
And I want member-exclusive podcast downloads so thats really what made me decide to support. Because -- damnit -- I wanna hear those member-exclusive podcasts, kek.
'one more thing... :D' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2007-11-22 14:06:52 CST Happy Turkey day.
Also could you please make your website so that I do not have to log into the website every time I want to do stuff? Because currently every time I close my Firefox browser it clears something and next time I come here I have log back in. Its annoying, thanks.
Also since I am being vocal now I would like to add that my favorite podcasts are VirginWorlds podcast by Brent, Shut Up We're Talking, and the EVE Online podcast. Not that my opinion is any more valuable than anyone elses, I just wanna mention that those podcasts ROCK !!!
'Thanks' by darrenl Submitted on 2007-11-22 14:14:41 CST ...Ammon. It's great to hear that you like SUWT, and it's great to have your support.

'uhh no prob' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2007-11-22 14:18:34 CST Thanks. I dont read blogs at all because I am usually playing MMOs so SUWT helps fill me in on whats going in the blog-o-sphere. :-D
'Been here the whole time.' by Adam Submitted on 2007-11-25 11:51:36 CST Thanks for the shows Brent. I've been listing since #1, just never signed up. Here's my donation for many more great shows.
'SUWT' by hughnme Submitted on 2007-11-25 18:45:26 CST does indeed rock, I bet the guy that sponsors that puppy would be intelligent, good looking, kind to puppies and old people and Australian....woops
'Heh' by darrenl Submitted on 2007-11-25 19:52:17 CST I hear people who sponser SUWT eat puppies, trip old ladies and steal candy from babies...but that's only what I hear in the streets :)
'I am excited to hear the upcomming EQ1/EQ2 podcast :)) Though I love the Vanguard ones!' by Johnedw2 Submitted on 2007-12-25 09:08:47 CST
I think it is wonderful to see such a great podcast.I love to listen and will glady support the site.
'Dollar to Virgin Worlds!' by Kapazo Submitted on 2008-01-03 19:24:11 CST I don't want to see Virgin Worlds disappear so I made a donation. Moreover, I hope this site will grow and stand the test of time. Keep up the good work.
