Cuppy is taking a survey of the workspaces of the blogging community. This is interesting is a voyeuristic sort of way, so I figured I'd participate. This isn't where I record the podcast (perhaps I'll add those later) but this is where the real work and play gets done. Nothing too fancy here. Dual 21" Mitsubishi monitors, that's right I use the old CRTs - they still look better. A crappy old Dell Laptop lurks on the desktop... the good one the runs Vanguard is hiding elsewhere. I interface with the standard issue G15 and G5. The MMO boxes are still around (mostly), the Plantronics DSP 500 headset is within reach, the VirginWorlds mouse pad exudes cool, and I have a Guinness towel (from Ireland) I use to keep bird feathers out of my keyboards. Note the all important kitchen timer near the monitors, the old WoW maps and the trusty iAudio U2/Nano combination. Nothing beats an old school cafeteria style table. Plenty of workspace.     |

Hey, I can actually see your desk- Mine would be more of the 'heap' type, consisting of a mix of wires and hardware in the corner.
Anyhow, where can I order my Virginworlds mousepad ? :)

...those boxes have been sitting precisely like that since GDC - so there. The blackberry was in dire need of a charge.

Thats about the same amount of MMORPG boxes that I have sitting around, all the way back to original Kunark, Velious boxes.
I wish I could subscribe to all of them but the Wife would kill me

Ogrebear - those aren't from a box... I printed those up myself on some super think poster paper. Cost me a mint, but it worked out nicely.
QforQ - Yeah, been playing MxO a bit lately.
pvthudson - I don't have my EQ boxes, but the discs... oof, I should have stacked them up, I have a zillion various EQ expansion discs.

So to keep up with the advance of this I am going to have to take a picture of my desk with all my MMO titles stacked on it, and with MMO-related posters?

Somehow I expected it to have an "unsullied" look to it. Anyone who can bring out podcasts like clockwork would have to be just that bit more organised than the masses.
Having said that it doesn't look very heavy metal....
Also, where can I get that head of a creature from Molten Core from?
The Anarchy On-line box is noticeable by its absence:) Also, where is the I (heart) Eve On-line coffee mat?
It certainly is an interesting idea to photograph workspaces, although I'd be a bit embarrassed to photograph mine, which masquerades as the local tip.
