| Something tells me that Perpetual and SOE have a winner on their hands here. Please take special note of the 'cool factor' that that some other (I'm not saying which) upcoming MMOs are lacking in a huge way. Gods and Heroes is not lacking. Sure, this is a trailer, but with the the GuildWars-esque design and the best animation we've seen in any MMO to date, how can we argue? |

It looks like the combat has some type of combo or finishing moves ala Mortal Kombat. Looks cool.

I'm absolutely loving the combat animations and just how far they've gone with them. Grappling, impalement, flipping, parrying, juggling... all so very impressive and long overdue in an MMO.

I have to agree with Gary from MOG that this will be a sleeper hit game. It looks amazing. The only thing Im not hype about is the minion system. Any more these days with MMOs I have enough trouble keeping up with one characters gear, but we'll see.
Im definitely giving this game a shot when it comes out, though. That movie looks killer.

Definitely going to try out this game. Have been visiting their site and forums for a while now: From reading there I think they have a good focus on making the game fun to play, not just adding cool/new features.
The minion system looks like it could at least as good as the City of Villains Mastermind pets, which are quite nice. Playing a group of MMs with all pets can be loads of fun (although a bit crowded in confined areas...) and I hope the minion system here in G&H can work out also.

This was never on my radar. I'd placed so much hope in Vanguard. But I know now that I must have the umph, as you said cool factor for a game to kick in with me. I believe and hope that Vanguard will live up to it's promise some day, but that day isn't 1/29/2007.

I have to admit, this trailer swayed me more than anything else I had seen on Gods and Heroes to date. Even though I saw some sweet video at AGC, this one did more to sell me on the game. It does look great.
Unfortunately, their beta (the closed one for core testers still seems to be stalled. Hopefully we'll see some forward progress on that soon.
