Did I pick up in your closing and indication that there might be a mid-week podcast this week? You did say something about taking up the email in another show.

'EQ2 and LOTRO Zone design' by Streamweaver

Something I think is overlooked about EQ2 is they probably have some of the most interesting zone design of any MMO ever produced. You could always find hidden caves or hard to get hilltops with something interesting, even underwater caves leading to a den of thieves. EQ2 has some of the smartest use of space I've ever seen.
I also wanted to add something about LOTRO's zone and Quest design. They do always keep you moving to a zone with proper content like in WOW. There is an added dimension in LOTRO though because the story actually advances as you move from zone to zone. You don't just change mob-levels as you advance your exp, but the story in zones updates as if you're moving forward through time. I don't know if this will ultimately be successful as a game element for LOTRO but wanted to point out it's trying to do something more than level content.

Great podcast as usual.
I always enjoy the music you put in to tie the segments together and I really enjoyed the song that closed out the show... would you mind letting me know who that was?
Off to listen to 40.5. Thanks.
