I got a surprise listening to episode #33 in the car this morning. I heard my letter read and my blog plugged! And now it is even linked on the main page!

Thanks for the kind words and the link!

Hope that you didn't miss the episode. Not sure how far in advance you're recording versus posting. Was looking forward to your view on this episode.

'Regarding WOW Radio' by Saylah

I listen to WOW Radio on a regular basis. I also don't link to it on my blog. I didnt realize until a couple of weeks after I'd talked about my favorites that WOW Radio wasn't there. I think they're like my dirty little secret. Epic, the show that I follow, is politically incorrect to say the least. MOG Army is too, but Kiki and Total take it to a different level. Hard to explain but give their shows a listen.

If you're going to evaluate, do so based on TotalBiscut's shows. I find most of the others to be VERY weak and amateurish at best, Farm Status is good but the others - dunno what the deal is. So much dead air as they fumble their way thru the podcasts. Need better editing or something. Epic is definitely their showcase show and worth every minute of listening time.

Yeah, I've seen the episode twice and I liked it plenty, I just didn't mention it. Not sure why. I guess I like to leave some things to other venues... I make strange omissions from the show sometimes.

WoWRadio... ok, I'm going to download it now... I can't beleive I never have in the past. Thanks for the tip.

'EA Mythic and EA Redwood teams' by mrluigi
Submitted on 2006-10-10 17:07:30 CST
Saying that only good things can come from the UO team reporting to the EA Mythic team is a bad point. DAoC is not going on 10 years old. DAoC has the same amount of subscriptions as UO. So why would it be better for the online teams at Redwood Shores benefit from reporting to EA Mythic?

mrluigi. First I'm wondering if you work at Redwood Shores, but mostly I hear what you're saying. That may have indeed been an insensitive comment on my part, however on the other hand, EA has 'in general' proved to be less than adept at preserving and growing MMO titles. Despite UO's continued existence, I'd be hard pressed to say they're monster successes or have maintained their product at a level even beginning to approach what SOE has done with EQ or Mythic has done with DAoC. Generally, I meant no insult to the current UO team. What my point is, is this: Redwood Shores can probably benefit from reporting directly in to a team that really understands the challenges they face. Thanks for the comment. You've been heard loud and clear.
